Starting from May 2025, candidates appearing for SSC exam will have the option to use Aadhaar-based biometric authentication. SSC’s new step towards transparent exams

Candidates can choose to use their Aadhaar while registering online for examinations, while the application form is filled and also appears for testing at examination centers. Aadhaar certification is voluntary
The SSC has clearly stated that using the base-based certification is completely voluntary. It is not mandatory for candidates to use Aadhaar, but options are being offered to make the process easier and faster.
