Basic Electrical ENGG :: Election. Measurement, current, voltage, resistance, power and energy, their units, concepts of Om’s law. Circuit Law: Kirchoff’s law, solution to simple network problems, network theorems and their applications, electro-magnetism, concept of flux, EMF, reluctance, magnetic circuit. Electro-magnetic induction, self and mutual induction. AC fundamental, instantaneous, peak, RMS and average value of alternative waves, equation of sinusoidal wave form, simple chain and parallel AC. Circuit consisting of RL and C, resonance. Measurement and measurement tools, moving coils and moving iron areas and voltmeters, expansion of range, watt meter, multimeter, meger, basic electronics.
