Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) The State Teacher is ready to conduct eligibility test (STET) in the coming months as part of the state teacher recruitment process. This examination is important for candidates wishing to secure teaching posts in secondary schools of Bihar.
- Stet-Bihar government to be held before BPSC TRE 4.0 has been urged to conduct the STET exam before the BPSC Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE) 4.0 to get a proper opportunity to the candidates of 2023-25 B.Ed batch.
- Reservation policy update-teacher recruitment reservation of 35% women will now be applicable to only Bihar-Advocate Women candidates. Women from other states will no longer be eligible for this benefit.
- Admit Card Update – BSEB has also announced the issuance of admit card for the local body teachers Competition Test (CTT) 2025 (III).
Why state before Tre 4.0?
Many candidates have requested that the state be held first so that B.Ed students (2023-25 sessions) can qualify before applying for BPSC TRE 4.0. The candidates of the 2023-25 academic session currently lack a state qualification, which is mandatory for teacher appointments in Bihar. State holding will first allow these aspiring teachers to become eligible before applying for TR 4.0 vacancies, which will ensure a large pool of eligible candidates for the recruitment process. This sequential approach prevents the potential disqualification of qualified candidates and maintains the integrity of the teacher selection system of Bihar, while giving enough time to new graduates to prepare for both important examinations.
