Board of Secondary Education (BSE) will officially release OSSTET 2024 Admit Card on 8th January 2025. OSSTET 2024 exam for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) in Science (PCM/CBZ), Arts, Hindi, Classical Languages (Urdu/Telugu/Sanskrit), and Physical Education will be held in two shifts. Candidates are advised to download their admit card from the official website of BSE (bseodish.ac.in) after its release. Without proper OSSTET Admit Card 2024, candidates will not be able to enter the examination center on 17th January 2025.

Here are some important points that a candidate should keep in mind:
- Only printed hard copies of OSSTET Admit Card 2024 are accepted; Digital versions are not allowed.
- Candidates must enter the examination hall before the specified reporting time.
- The admit card will have to be signed in front of the invigilator at the examination centre.

OSSTET Exam Scheme 2024
Candidates who are going to appear in OSSTET Exam 2024 must go through the exam scheme to understand its nuances. It is essential to understand the intricacies of the syllabus, exam pattern, marking scheme, marks distribution and other similar factors that play a vital role in the structure of the exam paper.
- OSSTET will have two papers i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II.
- OSSTET will have two papers i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II.
- Persons possessing the requisite educational and training qualifications as per Category-I will have to appear in Paper I of the examination.
- Persons possessing the requisite educational and training qualifications as per Category-II will have to appear in Paper II of the examination.
- Test Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) – 1 mark each
- There will be four sections in each paper.
- In Section I, Language I, Oriya will be compulsory for all categories of posts.
- English will be compulsory for all categories of posts in Section II, Language II.
- In Section III, under streams TGT (Arts) and TGT (Science for both PCM and CBZ), questions will be in English. Questions in other streams like
- Classical teachers (Sanskrit/Telugu/Urdu) and Hindi teachers will be in respective languages/scripts.
- Questions in Section III for Paper II (Category II- Physical Education Teacher) will be from the content of CPED. The course will be in English.
- Questions on Child Development, Pedagogy, School Management and Evaluation in Section IV will be in English and will be compulsory for both the categories.
- There will be no negative marking.
OSSTET Exam Date 2024
OSSTET Exam Date 2024 is scheduled on 17th January 2025. The exam will be conducted in 2 shifts- Shift 1 for Paper I (10:00 am to 12:30 pm) and Shift 2 for Paper II (2:00 pm to 4:30 pm). BSEO will conduct the exam in offline mode. Candidates are advised to download the admit card immediately after its release and carry it to the examination center compulsorily on 17th January 2025.
OSSTET 2024 Qualifying Marks
The minimum passing mark in each OSSTET 2024 exam is 60%. Individuals who score 60% or more marks in each OSSTET 2024 exam will be considered OSSTET qualified. In case of SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates, the minimum passing marks will be 50%.
OSSTET 2024 Exam Certificate Validity
OSSTET pass certificate remains valid until the candidate reaches the maximum age limit prescribed by the government rules for teacher recruitment. Additionally, there is no limit on the number of attempts a candidate can make to obtain the OSSTET Pass Certificate.
Facilities for physically handicapped candidates
Candidates having PH certificate with disability of 40% or more will be considered as PH candidates and can avail the facilities required for PH candidates in respect of OSSTET. Candidates having PH certificate with less than 40% disability will be considered as general candidates. A PH candidate capable of reading and/or writing will be provided the facility of a scribe (assistant scribe) as per the following guidelines.
