Bihar Police SI Vacancy 2025 Out
After the constables, now a bumper of sub-protection is going to be recruited in the Bihar Police. This news has been broadcast through the newspaper and the official announcement will be uploaded soon with the dates of registration and eligibility requirement. So far, the number of vacancies is reported, 1799 Deputy Inspector Posts will be filled.
Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2025
The recruitment process will include four stages: preliminary examination, main examination, physical testing and interview. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks secured in the main written examination and interview, while it will be mandatory to make the physical testing eligible.
Bihar SI Vacancy 2025: Eligibility
Educational qualification- Candidates will have to complete a bachelor’s degree (graduate) from a recognized university to be eligible to apply for SI posts in Bihar state.
Age limit- The minimum age of the candidates should be 20 years and the maximum age should be 37 years. Age relaxation for women category, and SC, ST, and OBC categories will be provided as per government rules. The category-wise age limit is bottom in the table.

Bihar Police SI Prelims Exam Pattern 2025
- Bihar Police SI Prelims Written Examination will include objective multiple choice questions.
- Each question has 02 marks and will have a negative marking of 0.2 marks for each wrong answer.
- Minimum qualification marks for prelims are 30% marks IE, 60 digits.

Bihar Police and Mains Exam Pattern 2025
- Bihar Police SI Mains will include 2 papers in the written examination. Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- Common Hindi is qualifying in nature, candidates need to get 30% marks to qualify in Paper 1 Examination.
- 02 marks will be provided for each correct answer and negative marking of 0.2 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The duration of each paper is 02 hours.

Bihar Police SI Physical Exam Details
Candidates who have been shortlisted after the main examination require the activities involved in the physical efficiency test. Male candidates need to cover a minimum of 4 feet distance in 3 efforts and female candidates need to cover a minimum distance of 3 feet in 3 efforts for high jump. Physical testing is qualifying in nature.
Women of all categories should have a minimum weight of 48 kg. The criteria of other physical testing activities are given below for the posts of Bihar Police C. Daroga.
