Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates willing to apply for KARTET exam 2025 must read the Karnataka TET eligibility criteria properly. In this way before submitting their KARTET Application Form 2025 they can ensure that they are eligible for the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test Exam 2025. Candidates who fail to comply with the Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria 2025 will face rejection or disqualification and their TET application fee will not be refunded.
(Paper-I): Minimum Qualification Required (for teaching classes 1 to 5)
PUC/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Or
PUC/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or fourth year of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.Ed.).
Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
(Paper-II): Minimum Qualification Required (for teaching classes 6 to 8)
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
Or
PUC/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.Ed.).
Or
PUC/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
Or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year B.Ed. (special education).
Note: Relaxation of up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum educational qualification prescribed for eligibility will be given to candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/CI/PWD.
Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit
Candidates applying for Karnataka TET Exam 2025 must be above 18 years of age. There is no upper age limit for KARTET exam 2025.
