eligibility criteria

Technical Forensic Psychologist: To be eligible for the post, candidates must be officers from Central/State Governments, Universities, Research Institutions, Union Territories, PSUs, or Autonomous/Statutory Bodies who: (i) hold similar posts on regular basis, or ( ii) With two years’ service in Pay Band-2 (₹9300-34800) with Grade Pay ₹4800, or (iii) Three years’ service in Pay Band-2 with Grade Pay. ₹4600. They must have a Master’s degree in Criminology or Clinical Psychology from a recognized university and three years’ experience in applied psychology, criminology or crime investigation.

Desirable qualifications include Doctorate in Psychology, three years’ experience in Clinical Psychology, or advanced qualifications such as M.Phil/PG Diploma in Clinical/Forensic Psychology. Deputation is limited to three years, and applicants must be below 56 years of age as on the last date of application.

Finger Print Expert: Candidates should be an officer working under Central or State Government, Universities, Recognized Research Institutions, Union Territories, PSUs or Autonomous Organizations. They should either hold an equivalent post on regular basis, with two years’ experience in a post carrying Pay Band-2 Scale ₹9300-34800 and Grade Pay ₹4800, or three years’ experience in a post carrying Pay Band-2 Scale ₹9300-34800 and Grade Pay ₹4800. -2 Scale ₹9300-34800 and Grade Pay ₹4600. Additionally, candidates must have M.Sc. Should be. M.Sc. in any science subject. in Forensic Science, or B.Sc. Chemistry as a subject from a recognized University.

explosives expert: Officers of Central/State Governments, Universities, Recognized Research Institutions, Union Territories, PSUs, Semi-Government, Statutory, or Autonomous Organizations are eligible if they: (i) hold analogous posts on regular basis; (ii) Must have two years’ regular service in Pay Band-2 (₹9300-34800) with Grade Pay of ₹4800; OR (iii) Must have three years regular service in the same pay band with grade pay of ₹4600.

Additionally, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Chemistry or Forensic Science (with Chemistry at the B.Sc. level) from a recognized university and five years’ experience in explosives and firearms investigation. Doctorate in Chemistry is desirable.

The period of deputation is limited to three years, and the maximum age for appointment by deputation is 56 years as on the closing date of applications.

Cyber ​​Forensic Examiner: Officers of Central/State Governments, Union Territories, Public Sector Undertakings, recognized research institutions, universities, semi-government, statutory, or autonomous organizations are eligible if they fulfill one of the following conditions: (i) Current holding an equivalent post on regular basis; (ii) With two years’ regular service in Pay Band-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) with grade pay of Rs. 4800; Or (iii) with three years’ regular service in Pay Band-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) with grade pay of Rs. 4600. Candidates should also have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in relevant fields like Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT.

Crime Scene Assistant: Officers of Central or State Governments, Union Territories, Public Sector Undertakings, recognized research institutions, universities, or statutory/autonomous organizations are eligible. Applicants must be holding a similar post on regular basis in their parent department or with five years of regular service in Pay Band-2 (₹9300-34800) and grade pay of ₹4200 or equivalent. Additionally, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, Physics or Forensic Science from a recognized university along with three years of experience in crime scene processing within relevant government or autonomous organizations. The total deputation period, including previous deputations, should conform to the standard norms.

Photographer: Candidates should be officers of Central/State Government, Universities, Recognized Research Institutions, Union Territories, Public Sector Undertakings or similar organizations. They should either hold an equivalent post on regular basis with six years’ regular service in a role carrying Pay Band-1 and grade pay of ₹2800, or ten years’ regular service in a role carrying Pay Band-1 and grade pay of ₹2800. There should be regular service. 2400.
