Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is responsible to follow the annual calendar released for the year 2025 for the recruitments. The above table shows the schedule of upcoming railway examinations as follows-
- First of all, zonal railways and production units will estimate the vacancies in their respective departments by subtracting the already existing vacancies in the recruitment year 2024.
- After this the evaluated vacancies will be approved.
- Then the draft proposal for Centralized Employment Notification (CEN) will be issued.
- The final notification for the candidates will be released with complete information about the recruitment process including changes (if any) from the previous year.
- The ministry also proposes the date before which the vacancy filling process is to be completed through the RRB Exam Calendar 2025.

For the coming year 2025, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a tentative RRB Exam Calendar 2025 showing which exams are to be conducted. The calendar contains details of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), Technician, Non-Technical Popular Categories (Graduate and Graduate), Paramedical Categories, Ministerial and Separate Categories, Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant posts. Following are the examinations scheduled for the financial year 2025-26 and their brief description.
RRB ALP 2025- Candidates will be selected for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) post through CBT 1, CBT 2, CBAT and Document Verification. For the year 2025, the notification can be expected in January-March 2025 with a huge number of vacancies and great opportunities for candidates with matriculation degree.
RRB Technician 2025- Selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in Computer Based Test followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination for final selection. Official notification with complete details will be released in April-June 2025.
RRB NTPC 2025- Railway Non-Technical Popular Categories Examination contains vacancies for graduate and undergraduate level candidates. The board has announced to release the RRB NTPC Notification 2025 in the month of July-September 2025.
RRB Paramedical 2025- Railways will also release vacancies for various posts falling under the category of Paramedical Staff in the year 2025. As per RRB Calendar 2025, the notification along with application form and other details will be released in July-September 2025 and selection will be done. Through computer-based testing followed by document verification and medical examination.
