SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern
SBI PO Prelims exam pattern has three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability, with a total of 100 questions with a maximum of 100 marks. It is conducted online within the time limit of 1 hour. Each question carries 1 mark, and for each wrong answer 1/4 mark is deducted as negative marking. There is no sectional cut-off, and candidates are selected on the basis of merit for the main examination, in which approximately 10 times more candidates are selected than the number of vacancies.

SBI PO Main Exam Pattern
SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern will consist of two parts conducted online. The objective test will last for 3 hours and will include sections on Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness and English Language, totaling 200 marks. Each section will have a specified number of questions, and there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answers. The descriptive test will be of 30 minutes, focusing on English language skills with questions on essay and letter writing, carrying a total of 50 marks. Candidates scoring above the minimum qualifying marks will proceed to the next stage, consisting of Psychometric Test, Group Exercise and Interview, in which shortlisting will be done on the basis of a ratio of up to 3 times the number of category-wise vacancies from the top of the merit list.
