TPSC Assistant Professor Selection Process
The selection process for TPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 will be ruled by Anulgent-A and Anulgent-B of the Schedule notified for the post of Assistant Professor in Government General Degree Colleges. The recruitment process consists of two serial stages:
- Screening by API score (100 points): This will be the initial screening phase, where the candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their academic performance indicator (API) score.
- Interview/Personality Test (15 marks): The candidates selected through the API score screening will be called for interview/personality test, which will take 15 points (15%of the total 100 marks). The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in both stages: 85% of the API score and 15% from the interview. Candidates who do not participate in the interview will be excluded from the final merit list.
- Category-wise interview call ratio:
- 1 for vacancy: 5 candidates will be called.
- For 2 vacancies: 8 candidates will be called.
- For 3 or more vacancies: 3 times the number of vacancies will be called.
Candidates who score equal to the final selected candidate will also be eligible for interview.
- Final selection: The final selection will be based on the merit, given the API score and the combined clan of marks of the interview. In the case of a tie in scars, seniority at age will be used to finalize merit positions. If necessary, a waiting list will be prepared after the same criteria.
