(1) Agronomy and Soil Sciences
- Ability: M.Sc. In chemistry with agronomy, soil science, biochemistry, or at least 55% marks.
(2) Plant pathology
- Ability: M.Sc. Agriculture (plant pathology), microbiology, or in botany with at least 55% marks.
(3) Antomology
- Ability: M.Sc. In Nematology, Cerriculture, Environmental Sciences, Forestry, Agriculture. Microbiology, microbiology (botany with specialization in microbiology), horticulture, agri. Biotechnology (M.Sc./m.tech.), Agri. Extension, or agriculture. Plant pathology with at least 55% marks.
