SSC GD Physical Test 2025
SSC GD Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) examination is conducted to test the physical eligibility of male and female candidates. All the candidates declared eligible in the written examination will be shortlisted to participate in PST & PET. All the candidates who successfully pass the selection phase of SSC GD will be appointed as a general duty constable in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) through this recruitment drive.
SSC GD Constable Physical Date 2025
Through the SSC GD Constable Examination, a total of 39481 vacancies will be filled for constables (general duty) in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, SSF and NCB. The SSC GD 2025 is prescribed for PST and PET with Constable DV/DME rounds, which will be released after the announcement of SSC GD Results 2025 for the written examination. The admit card has been issued by the Nodal CAPF to the candidates shortlisted for PST / PET.

SSC GD Constable Physical Test 2025
SSC GD physical test ensures that candidates are physically capable of being part of Indian paramilitary forces and include many activities such as height, weight and breed. SSC Physical Efficiency Tests and Physical Standards Testing have different requirements for male and female candidates, shortlisted candidates need to meet those requirements to pass SSC GD Constable Physical Test 2025.
SSC GD Constable PST
The purpose of conducting SSC GD Physical Standards Test is to check whether the candidates who match the necessary physical requirements, including chest remedies, weight and height. For SSC GD Constable PST 2025, candidates must meet the physical requirements prescribed for male and female candidates. The height, weight and chest measurement of ex -servicemen will be taken only for record purposes otherwise, they are exempted from PST and PET stages. According to medical standards, weight should be in proportion to height and age. Physical standard testing is qualifying in nature, candidates can check the physical measurements given below.
SSC GD physical requirements for male candidates
The male candidate belonging to the general, SC & OBC categories should be at least 170 cm long and should have a minimum chest expansion of 5 cm and the unexpected chest measure 80 cm. Height and chest measurements are given below for male candidates belonging to other categories.

SSC GD Constable Pet
After the PST test is over, the Commission will conduct SSC GD Physical Efficiency Test 2025. Candidates belonging to Ladakh or any other area will have to complete the race within the stipulated time frame for women and male candidates.
SSC GD Constable Pet for Male Candidates
Male candidates who belong to the Ladakh region have to complete the 1.6 km of walking in 7 minutes and for other region candidates, this is a 5 km race that will have to be completed in 24 minutes.

SSC GD Medical Examination
All the candidates declared eligible in the PET/ PST exam will be called to appear for a detailed medical examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME). Shortlisted candidates will undergo medical examinations conducted by CAPFS to evaluate their physical and medical fitness.

How to prepare for SSC GD Physical Testing
Preparation for SSC GD Physical Test 2024 includes a fitness routine, a balanced diet and mental preparation. Candidates must be physically fit to pass the physical examination and follow the suggestions given below:
- Be sure to walk every day. If you want to perform well, include physical activity in your routine.
- Remember to complete all the activities mentioned in the guidelines before taking the test.
- Stay well hydrated, especially during workouts.
- Make sure you get enough vitamins and minerals from a well -round diet, or consider the supplement if necessary.
- Maintain a healthy diet rich in fresh fruits and juices. Detox your body to get rid of any harmful toxins and junk food.
- Recharge your body by getting at least 8 to 10 hours of quality sleep per night.
- Remember to include comfort days in your workout routine to prevent overtrening and reduce the risk of injuries.
