Aibe 20 Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for AIBE 20 exam:
1. Educational qualification
- Candidates must have passed or passed in the final year of 3-year LL.B or 5-year integrated LL.B degrees.
- BCI- A recognized law degree is required from the approved institute.
2. Minimum marks requirement
- No minimum marks are required to appear for AIBE.
- However, universities can write minimum grade for further legal education (LL.M., etc.).
3. Age limit
- There is no upper or lower age limit to appear in AIBE exam.
4. State bar council enrollment
- State Bar Council registration is no longer mandatory to appear in AIBE.
- Candidates can apply even if the State Bar is not enrolled with the Bar Council.
Ab eligibility discount
- Graduates of law who have LL.B. Before the academic year, 2009-2010 was exempted from AIBE.
- Those who graduated in or before 2008 (even though later nominated) do not need to appear for AIBE.
- Candidates graduating from 2009-10 should display AIBE to practice law.
Number Of Attempts
- Unlimited efforts are allowed until the candidate qualifies.
- However, candidates will have to pass AIBE within two years of provisional enrollment with the State Bar Council.
- If the 2-year duration is terminated without merit, the candidate will have to re-enrol to re-appear.

- Received degree/Pending (Whatever is not applied, close it)
- Not nominated with State Bar Council
- Studied in a BCI-recognized institute
D) Graduates of law are employed without nomination
- Currently not employed and enrolled or enrollment is surrendered
- If Aibe is passed, eligible for enrollment for 6 months (should resign to continue)
