- Visit the official website of All India Institute of Medical Sciences
- Under the Important Declaration Section, Nursing Officer Recruitment General Eligibility Test (NORCET) – 8.
- Click ‘Create a new account’ for new registration and enter all personal details such as the name of the candidate, father’s name, mother’s name mobile number and email ID.
- A candidate will be sent to ID and password registered email ID.
- Click on the new ‘Login to Applied’ and enter the valid login details i.e. the candidate registered ID or mobile number and password.
- Enter educational details like qualifying exam, college name, admission and passing dates.
- Enter the registration number of the candidate with which he is registered with the Nursing Council of India/ State Nursing Council.
- Select the name of the State Nursing Council and enter the date for issuing registration numbers.

AIIMS NORSET 8 2025 Eligibility Criteria
All those candidates who are interested in the recruitment of nursing officers posts should be aware that they fulfill the necessary eligibility in terms of educational qualification and age limit. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility required for their application form and selection will be rejected at any stage of the selection process.
Educational qualification
- Candidates should be registered as nurses and midwives with the State / Indian Nursing Council.
- Candidates must have completed a B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council-Nursing from an institute or university (Or)
Candidates should have B.Sc. (Post-certified) / Post-Basic B.Sc. The Nursing Institute/ University is recognized by an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council.
(Or) - Those who are registered as nurses and midwives in the State / Indian Nursing Council.
- An Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council is also eligible for candidates having a diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognized institute / board or council.
- After receiving the educational qualification applied to all participating AIIMS, candidates should have a minimum of 50-bed experience in a minimum 50-bed hospital.
Age limit (on 17/03/2025)
Candidates should be between 18 and 30 years of age as 17/03/2025, which is the eligible AIIMS Norset 8 2025. The upper age relaxation for the reserved category will be provided as per the recruitment rules of relatives/hospitals.
