Candidates will submit their applications online through the official website of ASRB. The registration portal will open on 22 April 2025 and the last date for submission of online applications is May 21, 2025. Steps to apply for ASRB NET 2025
Interested candidates who are going to take the exam will have to read the process of registration of the application form.
- Use the application form link available on the official website
- In the application form, choose that you are applying for NET, ARS, SMS (T -6), or STO (T -6), or any of these combinations.
- If you choose ARS/SMS (T-6)/Sto (T-6), you have to indicate your preference order. This option cannot be changed later.
- Enter personal details- name, father’s name, Aadhaar card etc.
- Submit the required documents, matter of matter, photo, signature etc.
- Pay the application fee and save the application form.

ASRB NET exam pattern 2025
The recruitment board of agricultural scientists has set the examination pattern for NET, ARS, SMS (T -6) and STO (T -6). Candidates should check these examination patterns to understand the composition, total mark and duration of the examination.
NET 2025
The ASRB NET 2025 will have a paper of 150 marks which will have 150 multi-class questions, each question has a mark, which will be completed in 2 hours. Questions will be based on the chosen topic of the candidate.
- For each wrong answer, 1/3 will be cut a mark
- The paper will follow the master’s degree in relevant discipline.
There are minimum qualification marks to qualify for the exam-

ARS, SMS (T -6) and STO (T -6)
ARS, SMS and STOs, Prelims, Main and Interview have 3 stages. Prelims is a qualifying exam with 150 questions for 150 marks, and 1/3 negative marking for wrong answers. Those who qualify, will be called for the main 300 points. After cleaning the main, the candidates will be invited to interview 45-Can.
