Age limit (on 01/01/2025)- Candidates should fall into a group between the ages of 21 to 38 years.

Candidates for forest ranger in Assam will be selected through three phases and candidates will have to qualify each phase to be selected for the vacancies released.

- There will be 4 papers for a total of 600 marks.
- The examination of English subject will be of traditional essay. The other three letters will be OMR based.
