AWES has officially released the AWES Admit Card 2025 on the official website on 8 September 2025. Candidates are advised to download the admit card issued by AWES by AWES for the candidates appearing for PRT, TGT and PGT Post Asap. They are essentially required to printout the admit card at their respective examination centers on the dates of the examination prescribed for 21 September and 22 September 2025. Without appropriate AWES APS Admit Card 2025, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
AWES Teacher Selection Process
The selection process for AWES recruitment 2025 involves taking a written examination and getting a scorecard based on the exam performance. Candidates who receive a valid AWES APS scorecard will be eligible to apply to their local Army Public School as per the vacancies declared on the school website or in local newspapers as per the AWES selection process 2025. In addition, local officials under AWES will conduct an interview and skill test.
- Online Screening Test (OST): A multiple choice test was conducted online. Candidates should clean OST to qualify for posts. The scorecard is valid for a lifetime.
- Regular candidate: 50% (100 marks) is required within 2 years of appointment.
- Fixed-Term candidate: 40% (80 marks) is required within 1 year.
- Interview: Ost-Qualified candidates will be interviewed. Regular positions are controlled by the Central Selection Board (CSB), while the fixed period posts are by the local selection board (LSB).
- Evaluation: Language teacher will take 30-can be written examination (essay and understanding). Computer proficiency tests can also be conducted if necessary.
AWES Certificate 2025
Earlier, the AWES OST certificate was valid for only 3 years, requiring retake every three years. Under the updated policy, however, OST qualifications now take a lifetime validity for those who provide a scorecard to the passing candidates who remain valid indefinitely and remove the requirement for repeated examination. In addition, it is not necessary to qualify for the interviews when passing the OST, who clarify the candidates, they will still prefer in the selection process, provide a different benefit to certified teachers.
