The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) will conduct the Bihar Police Constable Examination for 19,838 vacancies. Bihar Police Constable Age 2025 (as 01/08/2025)
The age of the candidates has been calculated on the basis of the date of birth mentioned in the certificate of class 10th. Let’s see an age criteria for all categories-
- normal range- The minimum age limit to apply for constables is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years.
- OBC and EBC Male Candidates- The maximum age limit for OBC and EBC candidates for the exam has been rested for 2 years. The minimum age requirement is 18 years, while the maximum age limit has been extended to 27 years.
- OBC and EBC Women Candidates- The upper age limit for OBC and EBC candidates has been rested for 3 years. The minimum age limit is 18 years, while the maximum age limit has been set for 28 years.
- SC, St. Male and Female Candidates, and Transgender-The maximum age limit is 5 years, ie, the minimum age 18 years and maximum age relaxes from 30 years.

Bihar Police Constable Educational Qualification 2025
Those candidates who are going to apply for constables
- Candidates must complete intermediate (10+2) from a recognized board.
- A cleric certificate issued by the Madrasa Board of Bihar State Government.
- A Shastri certificate issued by Bihar State Sanskrit Board (including English) or an Acharya Certificate (except English).
- Any other similar educational qualifications recognized by the state government.
Bihar Police Physical Standards Testing (PST)
Candidates will undergo a physical standard test, including measurements for height, chest and weight. PST is a qualification in nature. Candidates should be called for these standards for the next stage. If the candidates do not meet these requirements, they will not be considered for the next stage.

Bihar Police Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
For male candidates of all categories, physical testing includes 1.6 km of walking, which should be completed within 6 minutes, and a minimum jumping height of 4 feet. For female candidates, the run is 1 km, to complete within 5 minutes, and the minimum jumping height is 3 feet. Candidates will have to clean the efficiency test to be eligible for constables in Bihar Police.

Bihar Police Medical Examination
All selected candidates will undergo a medical examination conducted by the appointed authority. The examination will test eye lights, color blindness, hearing and stuttering. Candidates should pass the medical examination to appoint. Those who fail will not be appointed.
