BPSC Special School Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2025
Eligibility for Special School Teacher Post will be determined as per departmental notification number 916 dated 19 May 2023. The major criteria are as follows:
- Candidates should be a citizen of India.
- The candidate will have to meet the eligibility standards set by the Rehabilitation Council (RCI) for Special School Teachers.
- At the time of a valid CRR (Central Rehabilitation Register) number application issued by RCI, it is mandatory with auxiliary evidence.
- Candidates should qualify as Bihar Special School Teacher Eligibility Test (BSSTET) 2023, as applied: BSSTET Paper-I teaching classes 1 to 5 (primary level) and BSSTET paper-II for teaching classes 6 to 8 (upper primary level).

Educational and Professional Qualification:
- Passed higher secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
- Completed. An RCI-recognized institute or special education with a similar certificate/diploma in special education.

- Completed six months of teaching training in cross-dysfunction or multi-script’s disabilities.

Educational and Professional Qualification:
- A graduate degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university should be.
- The BED should have been completed. A equivalent certificate/diploma is conducted from RCI recognized institute in special education or with a valid CRR number issued by RCI.
- Six months of teaching training should also be completed in cross-discability or multi-script’s disabilities.
