BTSC JE Recruitment 2025 Eligibility
Candidates must have the required eligibility criteria in terms of education qualification and age limit.
Educational qualification
- Candidates must have 3 years Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) from a recognized Institute or University.
- Higher qualification like BE/B. Tech can also be considered valid, but the minimum requirement is a diploma.
- Final year Diploma students are generally not eligible unless they produce proof of eligibility at the time of document verification.

The selection process for recruitment of candidates to Junior Engineer posts will be done on the basis of their performance in written examination and interview round. After that qualified candidates will be called for document verification round.

- There will be 100 questions in the computer based examination.
- It will have two sections i.e. Domain Knowledge and General Studies section.
- The examination will be bilingual i.e. Hindi/English language.
- Negative Marking- 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Selected candidates will be paid Rs 44,900 – 1,42,400. Salary will be as per Level 7 Pay Matrix. Apart from this, various allowances and benefits will also be given to the candidates. Grade pay for BTSC JE is Rs 4600. The basic salary of BTSC JE is Rs. 9300-34800/- as per 7th CPC.
