The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an official course on its official website for engagement of Superintendent Officers on a direct basis. You can also download the official notification to read the exam course in detail. The selection of Superintendent posts is going to be taken in three different stages. The first part of the selection process consists of a written test. If you clean the cut off in the written examination, you will be called a descriptive test and finally for the document verification.

CBSE Superintendent Tier 1 Exam Pattern
There are a total of 150 questions in the exam. The maximum marks are 450. There are 5 subjects, and there are 30 questions in each subject that take a total of 90 marks.
There is negative marking in the exam. For every wrong answer, 1 mark will be cut. Therefore, only answer questions that you are sure about.
