CPCB selection process
The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) selects experienced engineering professionals through a structured process. Candidates who meet eligibility criteria will be shortlisted for written examination and interview based on merit lists prepared for each category and post. These lists will be made according to the cut-off marks prescribed under the Central Pollution Control Board Recruitment Process. A national level merit list will be prepared by considering the marks made in the written examination and overall performance. For the post of scientist ‘B’, the final selection will be based on 85% weightage for written test and 15% for interview.
