Eligibility Criteria for CSIR-CBRI Recruitment 2025

1. For Junior Hindi Translator,
Education: Master’s degree in Hindi or English or any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory subjects at a degree level.
Translation certification or experience,
- A diploma/certificate in Hindi-English translation or
- 2 years experience of translation in any government department.
Desired: A degree/diploma in another Indian language knowledge and translation.
Age limit: Maximum 30 years
Pay level: Level -6 (35 35,400–) 1,12,400)
2. For hindi officer,
- Education: Master’s degree in Hindi or English with another language as a compulsory or alternative subject at degree level.
- Experience: At least 3 years experience in translation, teaching or research into Hindi/English.
- Desirable: Knowledge of any other Indian language, administrative experience, or experience of organizing Hindi workshops.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years
- Salary Level: Level -10 (₹ 56,100–) 1,77,500)
Selection process
The selection process for CSIR-CBRI recruitment 2025 includes two stages:
1. Junior hindi translator,
Written examination (two letters)
- Paper-I: Objective (MCQ)- General Wisdom, Qualification and Awareness.
- Paper-II: Descriptive-Paragraph writing, précis, translation (Eng-Hindi and vice versa).
- Final qualification based on paper-II.

- MCQ-based written test (in Hindi) -75% weightage.
- Interview – 25% weightage.
