Amendment in one-level examination for technical and teaching posts
One-level examination plan has been revised for the posts under advertisement 04/2024 and 05/2024. This change ensures that candidates should secure the required cut-off in their particular subject, while the general section remains a scoring component without a compulsory pass percentage. What has changed here:
- Previous Rules: Minimum qualification marks were applicable only to Section B (Domain-specific subject).
- Revised Rules:
- Section B (domain-specific subject) will have minimum qualification marks.
- There will be no minimum qualification in section A (general section).
- The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined marks of section A and section B.
Two-level exam change for technical posts
For posts advertised under 06/2023, 04/2024, and 05/2024, the two-tier examination structure has been updated as follows:
- Tier-I: only domain-specific section B has merit marks
- Tier-II: Only domain-specific segment A/Part-I have qualifying marks
- Final selection based on joint score from all classes
- Advertisement Applies to advertisements of 04/2024, 05/2024 and 06/2023
- Effective from July 8, 2025
