- Service/retired of retired approved principals of affiliated colleges of Punjab state universities
- Or universities service/retired professors
Junior technician (electronics technology),
- BSC or
- Three years diploma in related subject
- Punjabi is required up to matriculation standard
Junior technician (computer science and engineering),
- BCA/B.Sc. (This) /b.sc. Computer Science/B.Sc. Economics or
- BA/B.Sc. As an alternative subject with computer science (minimum 50%) or
- Graduate/Post Graduate with 50% + PGDCA from GNDU or equivalent
- Punjabi is required up to matriculation standard
Age limit details
- Age limit according to the rules of GNDU and Punjab Government.
- An officer on special duty can be appointed to age 70 years On a contractual basis.
Pay details
- Special fee officer: ₹ 50,000 per month (fixed) or final salary drawn minus pension (for pensioners)
- Junior technician: ₹ 19,900 per month (7th CPC Pay Matrix level 2)
