Gujarat State Eligibility Test is scheduled to assess the eligibility of candidates to be appointed as Assistant Professor in Gujarat. The examination is conducted in 2 parts: Paper I and Paper II. gset exam pattern 2024
The GSET exam pattern is planned to follow a two-session structure: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I assesses the teaching ability of the candidate by testing his reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness. In this paper 50 questions are asked with 2 marks each. On the other hand, Paper II is subject-specific and the candidate chooses 100 questions from 33 subjects from the GSET Subject List 2024, each carrying 2 marks.

gset qualifying marks 2024
Gujarat SET is a state level exam which will be a little more challenging than the normal exams as the exam requires expertise in the research aptitude of the candidates. Candidates should be aware of the minimum marks required to qualify irrespective of the cutoff which will be released after the examination. All general category candidates (Unreserved/EWS) require at least 40% aggregate marks to qualify, while reserved category candidates (SC/ST/SEBC/PWD/III Gender) require at least 40% marks to qualify the exam. Requires 35% aggregate marks.
