HCSL 2025 Selection Process
As per the notification, the selection process for the posts of Operator and Fitter will be conducted in two phases:
- Stage I: Objective Type Online/Offline Test – This stage will consist of objective type test carrying a total of 30 marks.
- Stage II: Practical Test in Relevant Trade – Candidates who qualify Stage I will have to appear for Practical Test in the relevant trade which will be of 70 marks.

Phase I objective type online/offline examination will have two parts General (Part A) and Trade Related (Part B). Part A consists of General Knowledge and Quantitative Aptitude. Each question is of one mark. There will be no negative marks. The pattern is given in the table below:
