IBPS Clerk Notification 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for IBPS CRP Clerk-XV, candidates have to meet the following eligibility requirements:
Age limit (as on 01.08.2025): Candidates would not have been born before 02.08.1997 and later not from 01.08.2005 (both dates inclusive).
- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 28 years
Educational Qualification (on 21.08.2025): Applicants should have a graduate degree in any discipline from the Government of India recognized university.
At the time of online registration, a valid degree certificate or mark sheet indicating graduation status should be near. The percentage of marks should be recorded while applying.
computer literacy: Knowledge of computer operation is necessary. Candidates must have:
- A certificate/diploma/degree in computer operations, or
- Studied Computer/IT as a subject at High School/College/Institute level.
Credit history required: Candidates should maintain a healthy credit history with acceptable credit score as per the norms of banks participating.
If the condition of the CIBIL is not updated before joining, the candidates should not submit any objection certificate (NOC) from the lenders, which does not confirm the outstanding amount without any dues. Banks reserve the right to withdraw or cancel the proposal in case of adverse credit records.

The application fee should be paid online between 01.08.2025 and 21.08.2025:

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025 Process includes two computer-based tests:
preliminary examination

- Total: 100 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes

English Language – 30 QS, 30 points (20 minutes)
Numerical capacity – 35 QS, 35 points (20 minutes)

Note: For each wrong answer in objective tests, 0.25 marks will be cut as punishment.

Changes launched in IBPS Clerk Notification 2025
IBPS has made some notable changes for the recruitment of candidates for the Clerical Post this year. These are the following changes:
Name post: The designation “clerk” is now officially named as Customer Service Associate.
Declaration of detailed pay scale: IBPS has published a full integrated pay scale for the first time. Original Salary: ₹ 24,050 – ₹ 64,480 with structured increment.
Revised main exam pattern: The number of questions decreased from 190 to 155. The duration was reduced from 160 to 120 minutes.
Compulsory local language proficiency test: Applicants should be able to read, write, speak and understand the local language of the state. Exempted if local language was studied in 10th grade or more.
Digilocker Integration: Candidates can auto-fertilize Aadhaar and educational certificates through Digilokar. The document uploads the process easy and speed.
New editing window feature: A separate editing window will be provided after registration. The standard registration allows improvement beyond the period.
Major changes in IBPS Clerk 2025 Examination
IBPS Clerk Notification 2025 Selection Process
IBPS Clerk notification is two steps in selection for 2025:
1. preliminary examination
- First stage of process
- Objective-type online test
- Qualification in nature (scars not counted for final selection)
- You have to pass it to appear for the men’s exam
2. Main examination
- Final stage of selection
- Marx done in this exam is considered for the final result
- No interview is conducted after Mains Examination
- The final selection is based only on the marks obtained in the Mains Examination.
3. Local Language Profession Testing (LLPT)- introduced this year
- A new LLPT platform has been added after the main.
- The final should be cleaned before joining, or the selection can be canceled.
Local language proficiency test in IBPS Clerk
In an important update, the IBPS Clerk 2025 Recruitment Process now includes a local language proficiency test (LLPT), which is conducted after the main examination and before the final joining. This test ensures that the candidates are fluent in reading, writing and understanding the official language of the state/they apply.
However, those who have studied the local language specified in the 10th standard or higher and they can provide a valid mark sheet or certificate will be exempted from being displayed for LLPT. Provisional allocation can be canceled as a result of failure to clean this test, making it an essential qualification step for final selection.

IBPS Clerk Post offers a decent initial salary with several allowances and benefits.

Application Edit Window introduced
For the first time, IBPS has introduced a separate “edit window” facility in the Clerk 2025 application process, which aims to reduce errors and improve the candidate’s experience. With this update, applicants will now get an additional opportunity to review and correct the details in their submitted form after the initial registration period is over. This edit window will have its own set of its own set (to be declared separately) and will only be available once, so candidates will have to use carefully to ensure that their application is accurate and complete.
