Inspector General of recruitment of jails requires the following eligibility conditions for each post:
1. medical officer,
- Medical Qualification under the Medical Council of India Act, 1956.
- Completion of compulsory internships.

2. Ayurvedic doctor,
- One degree in Ayurvedic medicine.
- Three years of professional experience.

3. Homeopathic doctor,
