Jack to introduce new rules and regulations

The Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test will now be conducted under a new policy structure, which is currently being finalized by the Jharkhand Academic Council in consultation with the Department of School Education and Literacy. The revised rules are expected to bring more clarity, structure and transparency in the selection process. The move was approved by the state’s education minister, Ramdas Soren, which strengthens the government’s commitment to streamline teacher recruitment in Jharkhand.

The fee structure from the previous cycle was as follows:

  • ₹ 1300 for General, OBC, EBC and EWS categories
  • ₹ 700 for SC, ST, and different candidates

Jack to release revised syllabus

One of the primary reasons for the cancellation of the examination was the presence of flaws in the first course. Jack is now working on a fully modified course that will better align with current academic standards and teaching requirements. This update is important, as candidates can only start their preparation after the new course is officially published.

A recent notification will soon underline the new eligibility criteria, paper pattern, and updated subject-wise syllabus for JTET 2025. Candidates are advised to monitor the official JAC website for timely updates.

JTET: A rare opportunity in Jharkhand

Since the formation of Jharkhand, JTET has been held only twice in the last 25 years – in 2013 and then in 2016. In 2013, around 68,000 candidates qualified, while in 2016 53,000 approved the examination. It has been nine years since the last Tate, which was expected to be highly anticipated with the state in the upcoming examination.
