KARTET Exam 2025- Overview
Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) is a state level eligibility test conducted every year for candidates who want to pursue a teaching career. There are 2 papers in the exam. Paper I is conducted for candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 1 to 5, and Paper II is conducted for candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 6 to 8.

MAP 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for Paper-I (for teaching classes 1 to 5) and Paper-II (for teaching classes 6 to 8) for Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test- 2025, candidates must go through the detailed KARTET Notification 2025 to ensure their eligibility for the examination.
Educational Qualification for Paper I
- PUC/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
- PUC/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or fourth year of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.Ed.).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
- PUC/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.Ed.).

MAP 2025 Application Fee
To complete the KARTET application form 2025, candidates have to pay an application fee. Candidate belonging to General or OBC category is required to pay Rs. 700/- (if applying for Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. Rs.1000/- (if applying for both the papers).

Steps to apply online for KARTET 2025 application form
KARTET Application Form 2025 will be accepted online only from the official website www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in. To apply online for KARTET 2025 candidates need to follow the steps given below.
step 1- Visit the official website of Karnataka TET www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in.
step 2- On the homepage, click on “Online Application for Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test – 2024”. You will be redirected to a new page with the online application portal.
step 3- Click on ‘Online Application for KARTET 2024’.
step 4- Enter User ID and Password and click on Login button.
Step 5- Fill your personal details, communication details and other details.
Step 6- Upload the required documents in proper format.
Step 7- Pay the required application fee after verification.
Step 8- Download KARTET Application Form 2025 and take a hard copy of it for future reference.
