The recruitment notification announced a total of 81 vacancies for assistant engineers. According to government guidelines, reservation has been provided for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and UR candidates.

License AE Eligibility Criteria 2025
Age limit (as 01.08.2025)
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- (Candidates must have been born between 02.08.1995 and 01.08.2004, both dates are inclusive.)
Educational qualification and experience
- AE (Civil): B/B.Tech in Civil Engineering From a recognized university with At least 3 years experience Planning and execution of multi-storey construction projects with full infrastructure.
- AE (Electrical): B/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering From a recognized university with At least 3 years experience Planning and execution of multi-storey construction projects with full infrastructure.
License AE application fee 2025
Payments during the registration process should be made online only. The application fee varies depending on the category:
- SC/ST/PWBD Candidates: ₹ 85 + GST + Transaction Fee
- All other candidates: ₹ 700 + GST + Transaction Fee

The recruitment process will be conducted in three phases, followed by a medical examination.

Prelims exam pattern
Logic capacity: 35 QS – 35 points – 20 minutes
Quantitative Qualification: 35 QS – 35 points – 20 minutes
English Language: 30 QS – 30 points – 20 minutes
Total: 100 Questions – 70 marks – 60 minutes
Main exam pattern
Logic capacity: 30 QS – 30 points – 20 minutes
General/Insurance/Financial Awareness: 20 QS – 20 points – 10 minutes
Professional Knowledge (Purpose): 50 QS – 100 points – 30 minutes
Professional Knowledge (Descriptive): 4 of 6 QS – 50 marks – 60 minutes
English language (descriptive- email, report, prisic writing, etc.): 2 QS- 25 points- 30 minutes
Comment: In the final qualification, the marks of prelims will not be counted. Only Mains + will determine the interview mark selection.
License AE Pay 2025
Assistant engineers will get an initial basic salary ₹ 88,635/- per month In pay scale:
₹ 88,635 – 4,385 (14) – 1,50,025 – 4,750 (4) – 1,69,025
At the minimum level, the total eloluments will be About ₹ 1,26,000/- per month In a ‘A’ class city, the inclusion of allowances like HRA and CCA. Additionally, Employees are entitled to pension, gratuity, LTC, medical benefits, accident insurance, vehicle loans, expenses, food coupons, and more, which is one of the most attractive packages in the insurance sector.
License AE Guarantee Bond 2025
Before joining, selected candidates must sign a guarantee bond to serve LIC for minimum 4 years (including probationary period). If they fail to meet this condition, they will have to pay liquid damage of ₹ 5,00,000/-. A notaryized deed of compensation should also be presented.
