Selected candidates will be posted on NCLT Benches across the country, with all India transfer liability.
eligibility criteria
1. for judicial member
Candidates must satisfy one of the following criteria under Section 409(2) of the Companies Act, 2013:
- high court judge Or have held this post before.
- District Judge With minimum 5 years of service.
- lawyer of a court With at least 10 years of experience.
(Judicial or tribunal related experience will also be considered in some cases.)
2. for technical member
Candidates must satisfy one of the following as per Section 409(3) of the Companies Act, 2013:
- Minimum of 15 years as a member of the Indian Corporate Law Service or Indian Legal Service in the post of Secretary or Additional Secretary.
- Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant or Company Secretary with at least 15 years of practice.
- Proven expertise (15+ years) in areas such as industrial finance, management, restructuring, or investments.
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Presiding Officer of a Labor Court or Tribunal.
age limit
Candidates must be 50 years or older Till last application date. The maximum age of service will not exceed 65 years.
Salary and Tenure for NCLT Recruitment 2024
- pay scale: Level 15 of 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
- Tenure: 5 years, with possibility of reappointment for another term of 5 years, subject to age limit of 65 years.
- salary protection: Available to government officials or members of higher pay scale.
