age limit
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 06.11.2025, i.e. date of birth of the candidate/applicant should be between 06.11.2001 to 06.11.2007.
- There is upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy) candidates.
- Age relaxation will be given up to 10 years for candidates belonging to PwBD categories, up to 15 years for SC/ST and up to 13 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.
ONGC 2025 Selection Process
Selection of candidates for ONGC Apprenticeship will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. No written examination or interview will be conducted.
- Selection for appointment of apprentice will be based on the merit derived on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination prescribed in the advertisement. If there is equal number of qualifications, the person with higher age will be considered. No canvassing or influence at any time will be acceptable and may result in rejection of candidature.
- Reservation of posts will be done as per the policy of Government of India on SC/ST/OBC/PWBD categories.
ONGC Apprentice Stipend 2025
After completing the ONGC Apprentice Merit List, selected candidates will be appointed for Trainee post. Once hired, candidates will receive a monthly ONGC stipend of Rs. 8,200 to Rs. 12,300.
