ONGC VIDESH Limited (OVL), India’s largest oil and gas company Overseas Arm, has invited applications for the post Project advisor/advisor On a contractual basis. The occasion is open to retired professionals of Central Public Sector Enterprises under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. The selected candidate will work at the company’s headquarters in New Delhi and will help manage international oil and gas projects.
According to the official notification (Advt. Number- Ovl/DLH/Conslt-2025/4), a post is available, and the situation can be filled at various executive levels (E6 to E9), depending on the applicant’s experience and previous position.
Condition description
The post is open to the same vacancy, but depending on their merit and experience, different e-level (E6 to E9) can be filled by a qualified candidate. These levels include:
- E6: Advisor
- E7: Senior Advisor
- E8: Associate Advisor
- E9: Advisor
eligibility criteria
- Ability: Graduation in engineering with first class postgraduate degree or at least 60% marks in GeoSains. An MBA is considered desirable.
- Experience: A minimum of 25 years in the upstream oil and gas sector as a production engineer, petroleum engineer or geologist. In addition, 3-5 years of experience in international oil and gas projects is required.
- Age limit: Not more than 64 years At the time of joining.
Salary
- E6 level: ₹ 1,30,000 per month
- E7 level: ₹ 1,47,500 per month
- E8 level: ₹ 1,65,000 per month
- E9 level: ₹ 1,90,000 per month
Salary includes an base honorarium and an additional allowance.
