The educational qualifications and experience required for recruitment of Grade ‘A’ and ‘B’ officers in SIDBI are as follows:
Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ (General Stream)
- Ability,
- Graduation in Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration or Engineering with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWBD).
- Alternatively, professional qualifications such as Company Secretary (CS), Certified Management Accountant (CMA/ICWA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Chartered Accountant (CA) are also acceptable.
- MBA or PGDM (Full Time, 2 years) in any discipline from a recognized institute.
- Experience,
- For candidates with Bachelor’s degree only, minimum 2 years of experience in loan disbursement in MSME, corporate loans, or small commercial loans as an officer in institutions like SIDBI, Exim Bank, NABARD or Scheduled Commercial Banks.
- Alternatively, experience in institutions dealing with investment or merchant banking, asset reconstruction, or project management with consulting firms may also qualify.
- No experience required for candidates with CA or MBA/PGDM.
Manager Grade ‘B’ (General Stream)
- Ability,
- Graduation with 60% marks or Post Graduation with 55% marks (relaxation for SC/ST/PWBD).
- Experience,
- At least 5 years as an officer in institutions such as SIDBI, RBI, NABARD, Scheduled Commercial Banks or RBI-registered NBFCs.
Manager Grade ‘B’ (Legal Stream)
- Ability,
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks (45% if reserved for SC/ST/PWBD).
- Enrollment as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
- Desired: Preference to candidates having Master’s degree in Law or CS qualification and proficiency in computer applications.
- Experience,
- At least 5 years as a Law Officer in a permanent or full-time direct contract role (not outsourced):
- RBI, SEBI, or other All India Financial Institutions (e.g., EXIM Bank, NABARD, NHB, NaBFID, SIDBI).
- Scheduled commercial banks, Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), or RBI-registered NBFCs.

Manager Grade ‘B’ (IT Stream)

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or Communication Engineering, or MCA with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWBD) from a recognized institute.
- Desirable Certificate: Preferred certifications in AI/ML, Full Stack Development, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management.

- 5 years in IT as System Officer or equivalent (permanent or full-time direct contract, not outsourced):

SIDBI Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection process of SIDBI Recruitment 2024 for Grade A and Grade B posts consists of three stages. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in each stage. Firstly, candidates have to appear for the Stage 1 examination which is common for all streams and grades as well. Thereafter, the candidate who qualifies the Stage 1 exam will only appear for the Stage 2 exam which is separate for General and Specialist streams.
