Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced an important update about the recruitment of junior engineers for the year 2025. This important notification can be found on the official website of the Commission. In particular, SSC has changed the eligibility criteria for candidates willing to join the posts of Junior Engineer in the field of civil, mechanical and electrical engineering within the Border Rhodes Organization (BRO).
In a step of providing opportunities, the Commission now allows candidates who hold a diploma in their respective engineering subjects, regardless of their work experience, to apply online for posts in this respected department. SSC JE latest update 2025 announced a change in SSC JE Eligibility Criteria 2025. The official notification has been released with some important points. Candidates should start their preparations to secure success in this competitive engineering examination.
- The educational qualification required for the Diploma in Engineering Program has gone through a significant amendment. In particular, the requirement for two years of work experience has been eliminated, the admission process for potential students has been streamlined.
- Additionally, quota allocation for various entry routes has been adjusted. The percentage quota for Limited Duty Commission Entry has come down from 10 percent to 5 percent.
- Similarly, the Direct Commission Recruitment Entry (DCRE) Kota has also seen sufficient decrease, which has fallen from 15 percent to 5 percent.
- In contrast, the quota for direct recruitment (DR) has been increased from 75 percent to 90 percent, which allows more access to this route for candidates.
