Staff Selection Commission has started the recruitment process for the most awaited examination, SSC CGL 2025. A large number of vacancies have been announced for graduates for this recruitment. Every year, more than 20 lakh candidates apply for this exam. Due to the high number of applicants, there may be technical issues when filling the application form or during the One Time Registration (OTR) process. Below, we have told about some common problems that candidates have faced and shared the best solution to solve them.
Students facing problems during SSC CGL 2025 registration
There are some common problems that many candidates are facing, such as they are not able to update OTR (one time registration). Over time, there are several changes in the individual profile that need to be updated to SSC OTR
- Mobile numbers and email IDs change over time.
- Candidates can visit new places, so their address requires updates.
- Category changes can occur:
- OBC candidates can go to the creamy layer.
- The certificates of EWS candidates may not be applicable due to increased income.
Some candidates have to face technical problems with biometric face authentication and Aadhaar card linking, which causes problems in completing the application process.
What should the candidates do if they face these problems?
If the candidates face problems during the SSC CGL application or in a one-time registration process, they will have to contact the Staff Selection Commission by sending an email to Helpdesk-Ssca@sscc.nic.in to the Toll-free number 18003093063 to assist them. Candidates can select the “Staff Selection Commission” as the department by logging on to the PG portal, pgportal.gov.in, clicking “Lodge Public Complaint”, and describe the problem in detail.
Candidates can also participate in a Twitter campaign on June 12, which can use the hashtag #SSC_allow_otr_edit to raise awareness. The main demands include allowing changes in OTRs, fixing technical problems quickly and giving age relaxation to the affected students.
