Prelims exam pattern
The preliminary examination for various UPPSS agricultural posts includes questions based on 2 subjects and the exam will be conducted for a total of 300 marks, the subject-wise details are given below.

- 0.33 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in the preliminary examination.

Main exam pattern
The main examination will include an essential subject and an alternative topic and the questions involved in the exam will be the question of descriptive-type questions. The general Hindi and essay theme will be held for a total of 50 digits and a period of 2 hours, a detailed pattern below.

UPPSC Agricultural Services Selection Process 2025
Candidates for UPPSC Agricultural Posts will be selected on the basis of three-step selection process- Prelims Examination, Main Examination and One Interview. It is necessary for each candidate to score a minimum qualifying marks in each stage for final selection.
Prelims Exam:- UPPSC is the first prelims exam for the Agricultural Service Examination, candidates need to pass this exam for a total of 300 marks.
Main Exam:- After the prelims exam, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the UPPPSC Agricultural Mains Examination. The examination will include 3 subjects including an alternative subject.
Interview:- After passing prelims and main exams, shortlisted candidates will have to appear in the interview round. The final selection of candidates will be done on the basis of interview.
